MARINAE - Mulo Lighthouse, Sebastian Oleksik, Adriatic Sea 2018
Collector's print from the MARINAE project. It shows the Mulo lighthouse located on the farthest rocky islet near the town of Rogoznica in Croatia. It is a beautiful lighthouse built by the Austro-Hungarian fleet in 1873. It resembles a small fortress and has been able to resist storms, winds and waves for almost 150 years.
The photo has been subjected to advanced editing in a RAW file, giving a pastel color characteristic of the noble pigment technique or pastel graphics. it also has a unique grain identical to the analog one, reminiscent of the Kodak Tmax 800 nagative.
The durability of the print, assumed by the producers of the paper and pigments used in the production, is about 150-200 years. After 50 years, the paper may have a slightly ecru color, which will give the print an even more noble appearance.
